Katie Dillon came to Catholic University in 2012 following a
one-year stint at Auburn University in Alabama. At Auburn,
Dillon earned her master’s degree in exercise science, while
also serving as a licensed athletic trainer at The Orthopaedic
Clinic in Opelika, Ala. Here, Dillon worked with numerous
schools and youth athletic associations, providing care for acute
and emergency injuries.
Dillon was also contracted to Fort Benning Army Base in Georgia,
where she worked with basic training soldiers as well as post
surgical and long-term rehabilitation soldiers.
Prior to her experience in Alabama and Georgia, Dillon served as
the Head Certified Athletic Trainer at Bayside Physical Therapy and
Sports Rehabilitation in Edgewater, Maryland. Dillon was
contracted to three high schools, and was in charge of all boys and
girls varsity and junior varsity sports.
Dillon has also worked as an athletic training intern with the
University of Maryland football program, in addition to a number of
camps.
A graduate of James Madison University, Dillon earned her
bachelor’s degree in athletic training.
