    The Catholic University of America men’s lacrosse senior Bennett Bradley continues to add to an already crowded trophy case. The Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association selected Bradley to the All-South Region First Team.

    Fresh off his Landmark Conference Senior Scholar Athlete award, The Catholic University of America senior Bennett Bradley has been chosen to the 77th Annual United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) / Nike Senior All-Star Game on Friday, May 25 on the campus of Providence College in Providence, R.I., at Chapey Field at 5:30 p.m.

    For the second-consecutive season, The Catholic University of America baseball stars, senior Brennan Cotter and junior Jon Mierzwa, have been selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) / Rawlings All-Region Teams. Cotter and Mierzwa were tabbed to the All-Mid-Atlantic Second Team and Third Team, respectively.

    The Catholic University of America standout Bennett Bradley has been selected as the 2018 Landmark Men’s Lacrosse Senior Scholar Athlete. He becomes the third Cardinal to earn senior scholar men’s lacrosse accolades and is the sixth Catholic student-athlete to garner top senior student-athlete honors this year.

    There’s something special about The Catholic of America women’s lacrosse program. The Landmark conference has only existed 11 years in women’s lacrosse, meanwhile head coach Meghan McDonogh has 10 conference titles including this year. McDonogh's also racked up 31-straight regular season wins. Not to mention the Cardinals are ranked 14th in the country and fresh off a fourth-straight run to the NCAA Sweet 16.

    The Catholic University of America women’s lacrosse team advanced to the NCAA Division III regional semifinal for the fourth-consecutive season but were topped by the No. 8-nationally ranked York College Spartans, 13-6. The Cardinals entered the game as the No. 14-ranked team in the country and end the year with a 15-7 overall record.

    The Catholic University of America baseball team was topped on Friday afternoon in an elimination game on day two of the 2018 NCAA Mid-Atlantic by Arcadia, 13-2, to complete the season at PEOPLEsBank Park. The Cardinals end the year with a 31-15 record.
  • Catholic Edged in Regional Thriller vs. No. 23 Babson, 12-11

    The Catholic University of America baseball team played a back-and-forth opening NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional game against No. 23 Babson on Thursday at Harford Community College Sports Complex. The two teams traded the lead seven times in the final four frames but it was the Beavers who came out on top with a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth.

Game time is set for approximately 6:30 p.m., or 40 minutes after the conclusion of the site's first game at 3:30 p.m.
