Baseball's Weekend Series Against New Paltz Canceled

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Due to the inclement weather forecasted for the region this weekend, the Catholic University baseball team's nonconference series against New Paltz has been cancelled and will not be made up. 

The Cardinals (0-2) opened the season last Friday, Feb. 15 at the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy against Cabrini, dropping both games of a doubleheader, 6-3.

On Monday, senior Bailey Lewis was named Landmark Conference Player of the Week while junior Ross Dean was named Landmark Conference Pitcher of the Week.

The Cardinals are back in action Tuesday, Feb. 26 when they travel to Hood for nine-inning, nonconference contest at Hood. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. More information on schedule changes will be available on CatholicAthletics.com and on social media when available.
