Deoudes Named Player of the Week

WASHINGTON- Catholic University baseball outfielder Dimitri Deoudes has been named Landmark Conference Player of the Week for his outstanding contributions in last week's contests.

Deoudes was an unstoppable force in a 3-2 week for the Cardinals. He garnered eight hits in a three-game sweep of conference foe, Scranton University, reaching base in nine of his 11 plate appearances. He also tallied nine RBIs, added five runs, and managed a stolen base in the series.

The squad now sits in first place in the conference with a 13-2 record. With victories over Moravian College this weekend, the team would secure the top seed in the Landmark playoffs.

The series is set to begin at noon on May 1st.
