McGarry joins American Football Association in Sweden

WASHINGTON- Catholic University 2013 graduate Timbo McGarry joined the distinguished American Football Association in Sweden. He is currently playing for the Malmö Griffins, which is located in the southernmost province of Scania.

McGarry earned his first career ODAC All-Conference selection his senior year after totaling 38 tackles, a team-leading three interceptions and seven pass breakups as well as 264 all-purpose yards. A native of California, McGarry picked off two passes vs. Washington & Lee and totaled a season-high six tackles in two games in 2012.

McGarry also served as the Cardinals primary punt returner, bringing back 11 for 35 yards, as well as nine kick-offs for 157 yards as a senior.

In total, McGarry ended his college football career with 79 tackles, five interceptions, and 11 pass breakups.
