Cards Defeat No. 14 Rowan in Field Hockey Action

WASHINGTON  - The mighty red and black Cardinals clinched their second consecutive win of the season with a 3-1 win over No. 14 Rowan on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Colleen Harwood, who has made an offensive impact in every contest this season, opened the contest with an unassisted goal 12:34 in the contest. 

CUA's Rebecca Lukaszczyk finished a shot off the post with an assist from Tarah post for a 2-0 lead after 26:27 minutes of play. 

Rowan's Kellie Campbell dribbled around the Cardinal's goalie Megan Comunale and shot into the open net to put Rowan on the scoreboard.

The Cards maintained their winning domination with an unassisted goal by Kim Hermann for the 3-1 win.

CUA advances to 3-1 on the season.
