Hut begins her second season as a graduate assistant at Catholic in 2019.
Hut came to D.C., after a stellar career at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana where she was a four-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) selection and three-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Great Lakes Region First Team honoree. A native of Tiel, Netherlands, Hut played in 77 career games for the Quakers while making 76 starts and totaling 86 points with 34 goals and 18 assists. She tallied 11 game-winning goals while totaling a career-high 10 goals and 26 points as a senior.
Off the field, Hut served on the Athletic Advisory Committee at Earlham and was Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She was also invited to the NCAA Inclusion Forum in April 2016 and the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in June 2015.
Hut spent eight years as a club coach with THCC de Kromhouters from 2007-13 before working as a camp coach at Sport Ways in Culemborg & Heemstede, Netherlands in July 2015. She also volunteered at the Rabobank Field Hockey World Cup in The Hauge, Netherlands in July 2014.
Hut earned her bachelor of arts degree from Earlham in psychology and spanish and hispanic studies in December 2016 and a master of arts in teaching in 2018. She also completed her Level I and Level II coaching accreditation through USA Field Hockey.
