CUA Men’s Basketball Boast NABC Academic Honors

WASHINGTON- Amongst more than 700 student-athletes from 287 colleges/university, class of 2013 graduates Chris Kearney and Nate Koenig were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court on Wednesday, July 17 and then announced the NABC Inaugural Team Academic Excellence Award on Thursday, July 18, which also featured the Cardinals.

Kearney, who is a business management graduate and Koenig, who is a psychology graduate, obtained the academic honor through their dedication to academic success during the 2012-13 academic year.

Along with the individual success by Kearney and Koeing, CUA's men's basketball squad attained the 2012-13 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for maintaining a team grade point average of a 3.0 or better.

The Cardinals return to the hardwood in November.
