CUA ranked 15th in this week's Top-25 poll

WASHINGTON – CUA maintained its spot in this week's Top-25 poll, announced on Monday.  The Cardinals check in at No. 15 in the poll after going 1-1 a week ago.  CUA is currently 6-1 on the season and received 198 votes in the poll.

CUA suffered its first loss of the season last week, falling to a talented DeSales University team on Wednesday in Pennsylvania.  Senior Chris Kearney notched a double-double in the game with 10 points and 11 rebounds

On Saturday, the Cardinals bounced right back with a solid 60-46 win over Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh. This time out, Kearney dropped a career-high 25 points on the Tartans, which came on an impressive 12 of 15 shooting from the field.

CUA owned a 35-24 rebound advantage on CMU and also forced the Tartans into 16 turnovers to earn its sixth win of the season.

Six of the Cardinals' seven games this season have come away from home, including four true road games.

Kearney leads the squad in scoring at 19 points per game on 58% shooting, with Shawn Holmes (15.9) and Steve Limberiou (12.6) also hitting for double figures.
