WASHINGTON — The Catholic University of America men's basketball senior Jay Howard continues to add to his trophy room as he was selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Middle-Atlantic District First Team.
This is the third-consecutive season Howard was tabbed to the all-district teams and the first time in his career he has mad the first team.
Howard, the 2018 Landmark Player of the Year and first-team selection, became the conference's all-time leading scorer and only active All-Decade Team member this past season.
He led the Landmark in scoring by over four points per game at 23.6 ppg. He reached both the 2,000-point and 700 rebound plateau this season as the D3hoops.com Preseason All-American was named to the Bevo Francis Award Watch List and a finalist for the Jostens Award.
The Pennsauken, N.J., senior ranks in the top-20 of seven national statistical categories including 15th in points per game.
Howard will likely continue to rack up postseason accolades with D3hoops.com All-Region and All-America honors to be awarded later this month.
