WASHINGTON — The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) tabbed The Catholic University of America men's basketball standout Jay Howard to one of just 20 spots in the 2018 Reese's Division III College All-Star Game.
The game will be played as part of the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship this weekend. Reese's brand is the official candy partner of the NCAA.
The All-Star showdown is set Saturday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m. (EST), prior to the NCAA Division III championship game at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va.
The teams are composed of two senior student-athletes from each of the eight regions in Division III, two seniors selected by online voting on D3hoops.com and two senior at-large selections.
Howard, one of the most decorated players in Catholic basketball history is the all-time leading scorer in the Landmark Conference.
The 2018 Landmark Player of the Year, he was recently recognized as a NABC All-District First Team and D3hoops.com All-Region First Team selection.
The Pennsauken, N.J., native is Catholic's second selection in the past three years, joining Bryson Fonville in 2016.
