Singer, Keith & Licata Headed to USILA All-Star Game

WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America men's lacrosse team will be well-represented in the 2017 United States Intercollege Lacrosse Association (USILA) / Nike North-South All-Star Game this Memorial Day Weekend at Providence College. Head coach Brooks Singer was tabbed to coach the South Team and will have seniors Tim Keith and Victor Licata on his squad.

The 76th annual All-Star game will be played at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on the campus of PC in Providence, R.I., on Friday, May 26, at 3 p.m. The North-South game kicks off a Memorial Day weekend filled with lacrosse in New England as the 2017 Lacrosse Semifinals and Championships will be held 25 miles north of Providence at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

Singer guided Catholic men's lacrosse to its best regular season in program history and highest seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament. Catholic went 13-2 in the regular season and 5-1 in league play. The team went on to receive votes in the national coaches' poll for the first time ever and did so for eight consecutive weeks.

Keith was selected as the Landmark Player of the Year. A 2016 All-American and preseason All-American, he is now two-time All-Conference First Team selection. Keith ranked fourth in Landmark Conference in both goals (40) and points (53). He posted multi-point performances in all but one league game and led the Cards with 40 ground balls. Keith earned his fourth career Landmark Athlete of the Week on March 27. Additionally, he was recognized by Catholic as the University's Outstanding Senior Student-Athlete.

Licata earned his third-straight selection to the All-Landmark team in 2017. He was also tabbed to the Landmark All-Decade Team. The senior midfielder was 10th in the league and third on the Cardinals with 40 points. He ranked seventh in the conference with 29 goals.
