WASHINGTON — The Catholic University of America men's lacrosse senior Bennett Bradley earned his second-consecutive Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week honor after leading the Cardinals to a come-from-behind, overtime victory this past Saturday.
The lead against Mary Washington would change hands six times in the game with the Cardinals coming out on top after Bradley's shot with 1:07 left in the first overtime period to win, 8-7.
The Towson, Md., native led the way for Catholic as he scored a game-high five goals. He put eight of his 13 shots on goal and added three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Bradley also added three goals and a ground ball in a midweek, neutral site game against Clark University in Clearwater, Fla.
Bradley earns his fourth career weekly conference accolade and picks up Catholic's third honor this season through six weeks.
The Cardinals return to action this Friday night when they host St. Mary's (Md.) at 7 p.m.
