Men's Soccer Season Opener Cancelled Due to Lightning

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Lightning delays forced the Catholic University men's soccer team to begin its season with a cancelled match against Ursinus on Friday night at Cardinal Stadium.

The two sides competed to a scoreless draw for almost fifty-four minutes until lightning in the Brookland area forced a break in the action in the second game of the 2018 "Turk" Emekli D.C. Classic.

Head Coach Travis Beauchamp and his team continue in the Turk Classic against Baruch College at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
