Cardinals Garner United Soccer Coaches Academic Awards

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Catholic University men's and women's soccer teams have both earned the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches organization for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year.

The Men's soccer team earned a 3.31 overall grade point average while the women's soccer team boasted a collective 3.47 GPA to garner the accolade.

Six Landmark Conference men's and women's soccer programs earned Team Academic honors.

The United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of high school and college soccer teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.

College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2018-19 academic year.
