1996 Season

The Cardinals started fast, winning four of their first five games, but dropped nine of their final 12 contests to finish sixth in the CAC. Junior forward Matt Lewis, a First Team All-CAC selection and GTE District II Academic All-American, led the conference in scoring with 45 points on 20 goals and five assists. Lewis, who had four hat tricks and three two-goal games, also passed the century mark and finished the season with 107 career points on 47 goals and 13 assists.

Senior defender Ken Laorden made Second Team all-conference for the second time in his career. Sophomore Raffaele Gesualdo was second in scoring with five goals, while freshman Chris Wilson had two goals and three assists. Sophomore Adam Anzzolin was second in assists with four. Goalkeeper had a 1.70 goals against average and four shutouts, including two against Division II Bowie State.
