Men’s Tennis Extends Conference Win Streak

WASHINGTON – For the fifth consecutive Landmark Conference win, the Catholic defeated Scranton 7-2 in Scranton, Pa.

CUA dropped the No. 1 singles match, while clinching the remaining matches.

2. Brian Bradley defeated Matt Prendergast 6-1, 6-7 (6-8), 6-0

3. Cassian Utrie defeated Brian Williams 6-2, 6-3

4. Joe Peters defeated Ryan Bair 6-0, 6-2

5. Jason Quisberth defeated David Commender 6-3, 6-3

6. Rocky Alaqbani defeated James Dalkiewicz 6-2, 6-2

The No. 1 and No. 2 doubles team added the final two points to the Cardinals win.  Juan Lorido and Cassian Utrie beat David Teres and Brian Williams 8-1.  Brian Bradley and Rocky Alaqbani also earned an 8-1 loss by defeating Kevin Murphy and Michael O'Malley.
