Men’s Track & Field Readies for Landmarks at SU OPEN

WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America men's track & field team competed in its final meet before next weekend Landmark Conference Championships. The Cardinals were in action at the Susquehanna Open, the site of the 2016 league championship.

Senior Jacob Maclin posted one of CUA's top times at the meet, finishing 10th in the 400-meter dash. Maclin crossed the finish line in 53.30.

Sophomore sprinter Brandon Johnston ran a 7.33 in the 60-meter dash, good for 11th overall.

Sophomore Michael Maldonado added a top-20 performance in the 800, taking 18th with a time of 2:04.18, edging by just .55 seconds.

The Landmark Championship will be held next Saturday, February 27 at SU.
