Towson, Md. — The Catholic University of America men's track & field took on one of its toughest challenges of the season as the Cardinals competed at the Division I Towson Invitational.
Sophomore Dillon Frawley got things started with a fourth-place finish in the pole vault as he cleared 4.10 meters.
Rookie Joseph Galassi also added a top-10 performance as his toss of 45.95 meters in the javelin was good for eighth overall.
Senior Patrick Jones ran his second-ever steeplechase and took home the bronze as he finished the 3,000-meter race in 10:22.92.
Catholic got another top-10 run finish from sophomore Joseph LaPointe in the 1,500 as he crossed the finish line in 4:10.46.
The Cardinals now have one final tune-up at the crosstown Gallaudet Bison Invitational next Saturday before the Landmark Conference Championships.
