Assistant coach Lloyd Jeremiah has been involved in the sport of track and field for over 30 years. He will be working with the Catholic University sprinters and hurdlers this season.  Jeremiah began his running career as a champion hurdler and sprinter at Coolidge High School in Washington, D.C., where he was league champion in the 110 hurdles and also was named to the All-Met team which honors the top three competitors in each event in the greater Washington, D.C., area. He continued his career while competing for Garden City College in Garden City, Kan. At Garden City he was a four-time NJCAA All-American.

Jeremiah began his coaching career as the assistant track and field coach at The University of The District of Columbia and later became head track coach at Coolidge High School in D.C. While at Coolidge, he developed several outstanding student-athletes including runners who garnered All-Met and All-American honors.  Jeremiah is an outstanding technician and teacher of hurdling theory and technique and he brings that knowledge and skill base along with the rare perspective of a coach who still competes in the events he coaches. Jeremiah competes in master's track and field and has been a finalist multiple times at the World Master's Track and Field Championships.

Jeremiah is a native Washingtonian, and still resides in D.C. He is a professional photographer with his own photography company.
