WASHINGTON - The Capital One Academic All District Men's At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the class room.

Caleb Capozella was voted to the District II team and boasts a 3.95 GPA in Biomedical Engineering. Earlier this year he was named the Landmark men's swimming Scholar Athlete.

He is a nine-time Landmark All-Conference performer with three individual championships while competing in just three Landmark Championship meets. In 2011 Capozella was named the Landmark Swimmer and Rookie of the Year. He owns six school records including the 100 and 200 backstroke, and 200 individual medley.

As a first team Academic All-District honoree, Capozella will now advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where First-, Second-, and Third-Team All-American honorees will be selected later this month.
