Undefeated conference foes meet on Saturday in Bethlehem

WASHINGTON - The two final teams without a Landmark Conference loss face one another Saturday afternoon when No. 13/17 CUA travels to Pennsylvania to take on Moravian.  The Cardinals earned a 70-64 win over Juniata on Wednesday at home, behind double-doubles from three players, including Emily Grabiak's 16 points and 11 assists.  CUA trailed the Eagles 52-50 with 8:51 remaining, before unleashing a 12-0 run to seize the lead and earn its 14th consecutive win.

Moravian actually has one more conference win than the Cardinals with four, which includes a 73-51 win over Drew earlier this week.  After having never won inside Johnston Hall, CUA has beaten the Greyhounds each of the last two times the teams have met in this building.

In the last five games, CUA has been led in scoring by four different players (Migash, Josephsen, Woerner, Grabiak) and in rebounding by four different players (Josephsen, Grabiak, Woerner, Owunna).

During the last six games, CUA has outscored opponents by a combined 212-158 in the second half.  The Cardinals have outscored their opponents in each of those second halves with a high of 38 points coming on Wednesday vs. Juniata.

With her 16 points vs. Juniata on Wednesday, Jill Woerner moved into the top-five in school history in scoring with 1,309 career points.  Woerner is currently 40 points away from the fourth leading scorer, Sharon Hodges (1,349).

CUA has taken 90 more free throws than its opponent this season and made 60 more.  The Cardinals have taken more free throws than the opposition in 10 games, including the last six.

After falling to Juniata in last year's conference semifinals, Moravian has stormed out to a 13-1 start this season, including a perfect 4-0 mark within the Landmark.  The Greyhounds are 6-1 at home thus far with the lone loss coming by four points.  Last season's Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year, Alexis Wright leads Moravian in scoring (16.9) and rebounding (12.1), while Katie O'Rourke adds 12.6 points per game.  CUA has won three of the last four meetings between the schools, including a sweep last season.
