Brielle Crites joined the Catholic University women’s basketball coaching staff in 2012 and was promoted to Associate Head Coach in the summer of 2015. A 2012 graduate of Catholic, Crites brings a strong basketball knowledge and high basketball IQ to the Cardinals' sideline.
The Collingswood, N.J. native earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Catholic, where she was a two-year captain and four-year member of the women’s basketball program while making multiple appearances on the Landmark Conference All-Academic Team.
Crites has been a key component to the success of Catholic women’s basketball providing great leadership, defensive intensity and a keen understanding of the game. During her tenure at Catholic University, the Cardinals witnessed their most successful seasons in the history of the program, capturing Landmark Championship Titles in 2012, 2013 & 2015 while capturing the regular season title in 2017.
During Crites' time with the program, Catholic has set a the school record for single-season wins with 27 in 2012-13, posted their best single-season record in Landmark Conference play at 13-1 in 2016-17 and became the first school in the history of the Landmark Conference to win a conference playoff game and a conference championship game on the road 2014-15.
Crites assists in all aspects of the program including player development, practice and game planning, coordination of the team’s strength and conditioning program, and recruiting and scouting activities.
