ST DAVID'S Pa. - The Catholic University women's golf team finished fourth out of seven competing teams Monday afternoon in its last action in the fall season at St. David's Golf Course.
The Cardinals shot a 409 (+111) on a chilly, blustery day on the course. Stevenson (+345) took home first with three of the top four finishers in the competition.
Catholic's best scorer was freshman Jordan Farrell, who shot a 98 (+28) for 14th out of 31 golfers. Farrell closed well, finishing with two pars on her last two holes for a back-nine 45 score.
Sophomore Tess Murphy followed close behind with a 100 that tied for 16th overall. Fellow freshmen JoJo Parker, Mary Colella, and Olivia Brogan turned in scores of 105, 106, 107, respectively, to finish with similar round scores. Carolyn Mueller rounded out the Cardinals with a 113 (+43).
After Monday's action, head coach Ed Dolan's group is now off for the colder winter months until they resume play next spring.
