Ajdari Selected to Play in Senior All-Star Game

WASHINGTON – Catholic University women's lacrosse player, Yasmeen Ajdari has been selected to participate in the 2014 IWLCA/DeBeer North-South Senior All-Star Game.

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association and DeBeer jointly sponsor this event, which showcases the nation's top seniors. The game will be held at Cabrini College in Philadelphia, Pa. on Sunday, June 7th at 2:00 p.m. following the Division I and II games.

Ajdari appeared in 17 games with 16 starts between the pipes this season. She finished the year with 101 saves including a career-high 15 against York (Pa.). The senior captain picked up 11 wins for CUA and had 33 ground balls to go with 11 caused turnovers.

The Bethesda, Md. native was named the MVP of the 2014 Landmark Tournament after helping the Cardinals to their sixth title in seven years.
