Fredericksburg, Va - No. 11 The Catholic University of America women's lacrosse team fell 12-4 to No. 15 Mary Washington on Sunday afternoon.
The Cardinals could not get anything past the Eagles in the first half (6-0). Catholic senior Laura Dunn put the Cardinals on the scoreboard with a goal assisted by classmate Elizabeth McCooey. Senior Alexis Bosilovic scored next for the Cards on an unassisted shot.
Junior Nicolette Crisalli scored a pair at the end of the second half to round out the Cardinal scoring.
Crisalli registered sixes shots for Catholic and scooped up four ground balls while Dunn took five shot with two ground balls.
The Cardinals, now 7-4 continue their nationally ranked schedule, hosting No. 1 Franklin & Marshall on Thursday, April 13 at 7 p.m.
