Weather forces postponement of CUA - Gettysburg game

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – A matchup of top-12 teams lived up to the billing early on with No. 12 CUA taking on No. 4 Gettysburg on Wednesday, but Mother Nature stepped in and stopped the contest due to lightning.  The teams were tied at five and minutes away from beginning the second half when the weather took a turn for the worse and forced the game's cancelation.

The teams will make the game up on Tuesday, April 12 at a time to be determined.  They must begin the game from the start because they did not meet the minimum time requirement.

There was also a 45-minute delay in the first half and the weather only continued to get worse as the night wore on.

On Saturday the Cardinals face another tough test when they travel to take on a Stevenson team that is receiving votes in the IWLCA national poll.  CUA and the Mustangs will get things going at 3:30 p.m.
