Women's soccer match at St. Mary's cancelled

ST. MARY’S CITY, Md. – The CUA women’s soccer team had its match at St. Mary’s cancelled on Tuesday due to a rain and lightning storm that hit the area. The Cardinals and Seahawks played a little over 14 minutes before lightning began to strike, and after waiting for more than an hour, the teams decided to cancel the match.

There is no makeup date scheduled for Tuesday’s contest.

CUA will return to action on Saturday afternoon when the Cardinals travel to Pennsylvania to take on Susquehanna in a 3:30 p.m. match.
