Hilton Head, S.C. The Catholic University of America women's tennis team wrapped up its 2018 Spring Break trip on Friday afternoon as they took on Thomas More at the Evian Tennis Center but were edged, 5-4.

Catholic won four of the last five matches, but could not overcome a doubles deficit.

Junior Erin Cole followed it with a win in the third solo spot as she was victorious, 6-3, 6-2.

Junior Elizabeth Ast and rookie Grace Connell added wins in the No. 5 and 6 spots and they allowed just a combined five points in the two bouts.

Thomas More took the No. 1 and No. 4 singles matchups but benefited from its edge in doubles contests, winning all three.

Catholic now returns to the Dowd Family Courts for the first time in over five months as they host Harford on Friday, March 16 at 3 p.m.
