WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America women's track & field sophomore standout Andrea Galeano, as well as the Cardinals team, were honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as All-Academic selections.

Galeano, who qualified for indoor nationals this past February and enjoyed a strong outdoor campaign, was recognized as a USFTFCCA All-Academic honoree while the Cardinals earned the team distinction with a 3.27 GPA for the 2016-17 season.

Senior Danielle Caruccio and junior Eileen McAlonan were honored in late may as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District selections and along with Galeano, they were three of 11 Cards to be selected to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.
