Selinsgrove, Pa. - The Catholic University of America women's track & field team competed at the 2018 Landmark Conference Championships at Susquehanna on Saturday afternoon and finished fourth overall as rookie Schola Eburuoh was selected the Field Athlete of the Meet.
Eburouh was victorious in the triple jump as she went for a mark of 11.32 meters, a new school record. She also earned the silver in the high jump as she cleared 1.62 meters.
Also atop the winner's podium was junior Andrea Galeano who went for a mark of 15.02 meters.
Senior Kiera Lyons earned the bronze in the 3,000 as she beat Moravian's Sarah Hughes by .43 seconds with a time of 10:47.25. Lyons also took fourth in the 5,000 at 18:56.69.
Senior Erin McNulty had one her best performances of the year as she took sixth in the mile with a time of 5:38.69.
Sophomore sprinter Grace Boras finished eighth overall in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.47 seconds.
Also on the field, senior Eileen McAlonan placed sixth in the long jump with a distance of 4.61 meters.
Catholic's distance medley team also added a bronze finish with a time of 13:06.68.
