Catholic Competes at the Tufts Final Qualifier

MEDFORD, Mass. – Members of the Catholic University men's and women's track and field team competed at the Tufts Final Qualifier on Saturday afternoon.

For the women, junior Grace Boras ran the 60m dash with a time of 8.37, which ties her personal record that she set just a week ago at the Landmark Conference Indoor Championships. Senior Kiera Lyons ran an 11:14.54 in the 3k to place fifth overall.

On the men's side, junior Cosmo Pirozzi ran a 1:58.97 in the 800m to place 14th.

These Cardinals, as well as senior Andrea Galeano, will await the official seeding to determine if they have qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships next weekend.
