Rahn begins his second year as the Director of Cross Country and Track and Field at Catholic in 2019-20. He has 17 years of coaching experience, including nine at the collegiate level.
In his first season at Catholic, the men's indoor track and field team placed fifth at the Landmark Conference Indoor Championships and broke four school records, while the men's outdoor team finished fourth at Landmarks, broke one record and Ceeja Beckett was named Rookie of the Year.
The women's indoor track and field team placed fourth at Landmarks as the DMR team won the conference championship and set a new championship meet record, also breaking five records inn the process. Additionally, the women's outdoor team placed fifth at the conference championships and Andrea Galeano broke the weight throw record. She placed sixth at NCAA's and also earned an All-American title in indoor track.
Rahn spent six years as an assistant track and field coach at Moravian working with the sprinters, hurdlers, and combined event athletes. During his time in Bethlehem, he coached athletes to 21 Landmark Conference records, 20 school records, 11 conference meet records, nine NCAA qualifiers and four All-Americans.
Rahn was a part of 22 Landmark Conference championships in men's and women's track and field, 103 individual and 15 relay conference champions, 22 Coaching Staff of the Year, five track, seven field and nine rookie of the year awards. He also mentored the 2014 USTFCCCA Mideast Region Field Athlete of the Year, Kris Joint.
Prior to Moravian, Rahn coached at Albright College for two years as the assistant track and field coach for hurdles and jumps. While there, he coached one NCAA qualifier and five school record holders.

- USATF Certified Instructor
