WASHINGTON- The Catholic University volleyball fell to Frostburg State Wednesday evening with game scores of 25-19, 25-11 and 25-18.

Leading the way for CUA was freshman Katrina Baccetti (San Francisco, Calif./ Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep), who garnered four kills and two defensive digs in the loss. Teammate Michaela Carroll (Amityville, N.Y./ Kellenberg Memorial) chipped in two service aces, eight digs, and 15 assists for the Cardinals. Also with a strong performance was senior Kilah Fox (Philadelphia, Pa./ Merion Mercy), who tallied three kills, 8 digs, and one block in the contest.

The Cardinals will hit the road on Saturday, September 20 for an away match at the Landmark Round-Robin Tournament. They are scheduled to play Moravian at 4 p.m., at Susquehanna University.
