WASHINGTON - Caroline DiBartolomeo and Tricia Pehnke of The Catholic Women's Lacrosse Team were each selected to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III South Senior All-Star Team.
The Cardinals finished their season with a 16-4 overall record after falling to the 2015 National Champions, SUNY Cortland, in the NCAA DIII National Tournament Regional Finals.
DiBartolomeo was named to the Second-Team All-Chesapeake and First-Team All-Landmark teams. She started all 20 games for the Cardinals in 2015 and leads the team in caused turnovers (32). As a starting defender DiBartolomeo has won 19 draw controls while scoring four goals and four assists throught the season.
Pehnke also graced the Second-Team All-Chesapeake and First-Team All-Landmark lists. As the Cardinals starting goalie she registered 1122.54 minutes between the pipes in 2015 while making 150 saved recording all 16 wins for Catholic. Pehnke lead the Landmark Conference with a 8.17 goals-against average.
The 2015 IWLCA North-South game will take place at Cabrini College, in Radnor, PA. on Saturday, June 6 at 2 p.m.
