Cardinals Earn United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

WASHINGTON - The Catholic University of America women's soccer team has earned the 2016-17 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2016-17 academic year.

Five returners from last years squad earned spots on the 2016 Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. Maintaining their success in the classroom through the spring, the Cardinals boasted a 3.52 GPA to earn the highest women's team GPA at Catholic. 

A total of 816 soccer teams (283 men, 533 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2016-17 academic year.
