NEW YORK – Kelly Carioto completed her indoor track season on Friday evening, finishing fourth in the shot put at the ECAC Championship.  Carioto posted a throw of 41’ 4¼” in the finals.

The defending ECAC champion, Carioto finished behind Kelly Allen of Tufts, Erica Szpynda of Widener and Jessica Masse of UMass Dartmouth on Friday. 

Carioto was one of three Cardinals on the women’s side to win a Landmark Conference championship last weekend, with her throw of 41’ 5¼” claiming the top spot in the shot put.

Carioto and the rest of the Cardinals will now look to the outdoor season, which begins on March 24 at the Battleground Relays.  Action gets going beginning at 10 a.m.
