Catholic Falls in Four During ECAC Opener

Westminster, Md. – At the end four sets of volleyball, The Catholic University of America women's volleyball team ended its 2014 Division III ECAC Southwest Volleyball Championships run and the season by falling to the McDaniel Green Terror on Wednesday.

With the, 25-17, 23-25, 25-15, 25-14, loss CUA ends the season with a record of 22-14 overall and 1-6 in Landmark play.

Hitting errors plagued the Cardinals, who tallied 33 kills with 31 errors and 129 attempts (.016), and only hitting at .100 during set two with 13 kills with nine errors and 40 attempts.

CUA's Tara Rempel led the squad with eight kills in the loss. Michelle Seals circulated 26 assists. Michelle Bouchard, who was named second team All-Landmark, tallied 11 digs.  Kathryn Herrington made three stops at the net on her own.

The Cardinals return to action during the 2015-16 season.
